Our Approach

The word “alongside” implies an intentionality to journey with another. We realize that we have always felt drawn to be present to others in our personal and professional lives. We have come to learn that there are few places in life where our stories are safely heard and held. As a couple and individually, we value creating safe spaces to be seen and heard, crafting good questions and sharing significant conversations with people, as a way of honouring their stories. The word, alongside, sums up our desire to “be with” others as trained listeners and to walk with them as they navigate life. How do we do this? Alongside offers opportunities for spiritual direction and soul care, retreat experiences, resources/care for individuals facing end-of-life, and coaching for churches in transition.
